As moles cannot see underground they have an acute sense of hearing and sensitivity to vibration. The mole-gard creates a sonic irritating vibration every 10-15 seconds which causes the moles to move away from the area.

This mole-gard is capable of protecting an unobstructed area of up to 1000 sq. meters depending on soil conditions. The unit will work better if your soil is very heavy. The area may be reduced to 500 sq. meters if placed in a very light sandy soil.
