Synopsis

This four-CD box set features three albums (MONKEY PUZZLE, OUT IN THE JUNGLE, and A LITTLE MADNESS TO BE FREE) that the pioneering Australian punk rock band the Saints recorded in the early 1980s, after their fickle British fan base's first flush of enthusiasm had subsided. Vital and energy packed, the Saints' songs carry echoes of classic '60s British rock, as well as a distinctively individualistic streak that puts them on a par with equally idiosyncratic bands such as Big Star. This collection also includes a full live set, featuring such classic songs as "This Perfect Day" and "Know Your Product".
