Give your game of golf a boost of confidence with Approach G5, a rugged, waterproof, touchscreen golf GPS packed with more than 6,500 preloaded golf course maps. Approach measures individual shot distances, shows exact yardages to fairways, hazards and greens, and much more.
Eliminate the Guesswork
The touchscreen interface helps you decide the best tactic to get that perfect shot and improve your score by showing the precise distance to the green or other key course features. Approach's highly-sensitive GPS receiver pinpoints your position and removes guesswork from your game. As you move, it automatically updates your position, so you'll always know your yardage. Improve your course management with Touch Targeting; Touch any point on the display and Approach G5 shows the precise distance to that exact spot and the subsequent distance to the pin. Knowing your yardage is essential to feel confident laying up or carrying hazards. To check the pin position, simply touch the top corner of the screen and reposition the flag to correspond with the day's placement. In 'Green View' you can also see the accurate shape of the green and the yardages of any green-side hazards. Approach G5 also displays tree lines so you can work out how far it is to carry a dog leg or a tree obstructing your line to the pin. After launching a drive you can measure its distance using the 'Measure Shot' feature for bragging rights back in the bar. Approach G5 enables you to assign every shot measured to a club, providing an accurate list of average yardages per club.

Keep score digitally
Approach G5 doubles as a digital scorecard for your foursome. After the game, you can save and review the scores on your computer at home. It tracks your golf statistics, including putts per round, greens & fairways hit in regulation.
Pocket-sized Golfing Partner
Approach G5 features a 3-inch sunlight-readable touchscreen colour display which offers two simple options once powered: Play and Preview. The waterproof and compact unit can be easily used with just one hand and comes with a caribiner clip, which fixes onto your towel loop. Approach G5 also doubles as a digital scorecard for up to four players and stores your played rounds. You can review all your previous cards at the 19th hole by connecting the Approach to your PC or Mac. Approach G5 is compliant with USGA and R&A rules.
