Synopsis

Academy Award® nominees Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum) reteam in this action-packed thriller. The film was inspired by the non-fiction 2006 book Imperial Life in the Emerald City by journalist Rajiv Chandrasekaran, which documented life in the Green Zone, Baghdad.

This controversial war thriller takes a compelling look at military life in Iraq after the 2003 invasion. Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller (Damon) is troubled by operatives with intersecting agendas, leading him to hunt through secret and faulty intelligence hidden on foreign soil for answers that will either clear a rogue regime or escalate a war in an unstable region.
